If we had been 2-0 up you would probably have seen Isla instead. Alessio will want to keep the game tighter, bearing in mind how shaky the Inter back three has looked.

Not a good half by any means overall. Thank fuck we scored that extremely early (offside) goal. But in saying that we had two really good chances with Marchisio just after the goal, if only we finished one of them.

Vucinic and Gio hasn't worked so far, their interplay is way off. Lichtsteiner was lucky not to be sent off.

If we plan to take the same approach from the last 25 minutes, then Mirko should be subbed out and a faster player should replace him. That counter when Giovinco passed the ball and the Inter player managed to get it before Mirko, was gonna be a goal or a missed chance if we had a faster striker.

i'd say put bendtner, as a target, and let giovinco do the running on his missed first touches, one is bound to end up in the right direction

True, but I think if we push them further, we'd be 2/3-0 up easy. They haven't been good. We're making them look so with all those misplaced passes.
