This 3-5-2 is as I repeatedly said baffling, why the heck are we insisting with it, when NON of our players besides prolly Pirlo (and 3 man defence) is doing aswell as they did before formation change. Non of Licht, Marchisio, Vucinic, Pepe and so on can excell as they can in the 4-3-3. Especially Licht and Marchisio dont play to their strenghts in this one. Plus Allegri is totally taking advantage of its weakness by totally stretching our defenders (while we cant stretch out Milan when arent playing 4-3-3).
Conte really needs to put this system on the backburner, and ffs why is he starting Esti and Borriello? They are playing as useless as usual.
Bonnucci, nuff said....
Defenitely should bring in Giaccherini or such for Esti, and Borriello for anyone...

Well, we should consider ourselves fortunate to be only 1-0 down. Milan have dominated us for most of the game. WE were supposed to be taking advantage of their lack of width, yet they are constantly taking advantage of our lack of width at the back.
I always prefer to play our best players in their best position. Lichsteiner is a natural RB, who loves to maraud, but mainly he owns the RB zone. Yet we are deploying him more as a right winger, than even a right wingback.
Esti does OK, but lacks quality and any defensive zeal.
Marchisio has found it very hard to get involved, continuing his shady form of recent times.
the highlight of the first half for me was Silva's yellow card. their best defensive player will have to be more careful in the 2nd half, but then again, we have been so lacking bite in attack that he has nothing to worry about presently.
we already have the players on the field to go 4-3-3.

Regardless of how it ends, this will always be remembered by me as the day I learned that disaster is actually spelled b-o-n-u-c-c-i.
As for the game, they're raping us for no apparent reason.
Our passing is shocking, and all we try to do is make Pirlo put high balls into the box from the middle of the pitch. We're overrun in the middle of the pitch, and can't beat them on the flanks- where we should focus on.
I hope that Conte will realize that his 3-5-2 just does not cut it.
Go back to the much better 4-3-3. Take out Bonucci for Pepe/Giac and move Chiellini to the left.
If we'll have an advantage on the flanks, we could make something happen. We can't seem to break through their 3 man line of Nocerino-VB-Muntari, and the moment we lose the ball they quickly pass it to either of their front three, and we end up in a three-on-three situation at best.
But in all fairness, just give me 1-1 and I'll sleep well tonight. We're lucky not to be trailing 2-0, so let's put this to good use.
If only that Esti's shot got in.........
