Barzagli made a big mistake early on and had Chiellini not been there to cover, that would've gave Parma a 1 on 1. Better than Bonucci anyways.

As for the 1st half, Pirlo was class playing without any pressure, Giacchi extremely poor, I'd take him out at HT.

De Ceglie has to get involved more and like Dusan said, Barzagli should start ahead of Bonucci though he's slightly better than him and not much.

Really? Bonucci makes tons of mistakes but today Barzagli was too confident, his play in defense was flawless and he had some great tackles. I'm not saying he's a WC player but I think he's ahead of Bonucci who's rather mediocre.

Lich was amazing, nobody could get past him. De Ceglie is not involved... but as a squad I'd say it was pretty balanced and they did very good considering how weak some players were.

The Good:
Defence seemed solid. Barzagli did some nice challenges and they didn't give the ball away with long balls. Looked coordinated apart from 2 minor mistakes from DC.

The Bad:
DP is slow and way to easy to dismantle for Parma.
Pepe doesn't contribute at all to contribute in 4-2-4. He clearly lacks the ability to play this high up the pitch and his work-rate doesn't matter in this formation.

The Ugly:
The refereeing team. Parma players just had to scream or lie down, and the referee wouldn't hesitate to give them a foul.
Matri constantly got obstructed and bullied, but didn't get a single foul. Not to mention the disallowed gamed (which funnily enough also was Matri).
