Yes matri is sometimes isolated, but he needs to hold it up more be patient and bring pepe and esti into the game a bit more as well.

Also esti has been decent in possession got basta booked set up Marchisio chance just giorgio needs to bring him into the game more. Giorgio always slows it down and then Esti has no space.

One criticism which should be leveled at Matri is that he should hold the ball up better than he does right now. Granted he's being completely isolated upfront today, but still whenever he gets the ball, he stupidly tries to dribble his way through the Udinese defenders, he just doesn't have that ability. He'd be a lot more effective if he just played like a target man, and held the ball up till he gets support from his teammates.

Esti has been good and so has our formation. It's done exactly what's supposed to. Replacing Pepe is the only sub that is needed so that we can get some attacking threat.

Matri is not a player that can play as a lone striker.
