If Serie A was as strong as it was in the 90's, this side would be in the relegation zone. That is how pathetic the situation has become.

We are an embarrassment to football. Something has got to give.
At least they managed to bring us down in serie B and get rid of us, so they can share titles...

It's funny how everyone says Marchisio is a bandiera, yet he very rarely plays like one. He plays like he doesn't give a shit, just going through the motions like any other old mercenary.
If Marchisio is a mercenary, he needs some council as to how one should go about getting paid.

Also, basically our two best chances, or two of three -a chip cross for a header - and that pass to Matri at the end of the half were our best chances - both created by Marchisio.

He's not having a great game, but I certainly don't agree that he's been one of the worst.

I didn't say worst, I said most absent. Plus I wasn't calling him a mercenary, I was comparing his will to get involved to one.

but buffon is not on form thats the point.
Despite the Gigi love, I agree he's still getting his legs back.

I agree he should have passed, but Pepe would have fucked it up as well.
No doubt.

Marchisio is still playing.
Evidence?

He's certainly killed a lot fewer drives and created a lot fewer bonehead chances for Roma than most of the players we notice out there right now.
