Del Piero has been awful for 95% of that half, but did something important.

DP just can't match it with the speed anymore - he needs to only play at the end of matches

Krasic looks lively and dangerous for us

melo looks half dead and dangerous TO us,get Melo off,he wants far too long on the ball,his misplaced passes almost cost 2 goals and he is continually taking too long to release the ball.
plus he is giving our (frighteningly exposed) backline no cover whatsoever

I wouldn't say that. He's made some good passes, won some important ball and helped out Motta a lot covering Cassano. In fact, after the goal I think Del Neri may have asked him to give Cassano a bit more attention because I saw a big difference.
