The good:
Melo is playing a mistake free game and had some nice runs and passes.
I love the work rate of Pepe. This guy has the Juve spirit written all over hoim. He didn't get any support from Grygera.

The bad:
Grygera doesn't go forward. No support for Martinez or Pepe.
Martinez is too slow and didn't do anything positive.
Trezeguet is not really playing. We need a quicker striker as we lack speed all over the pitch.

All in all we didn't play great. The speed on the flanks and the build up there is not there, and our system needs that. But who cares, its only a friendly!

We need to be more quick in our attack.. our build up is pretty slow.. And many of our moves have been through the centre.. Don't remember our wingers crossing the ball.. which has kept trez invisible.. Where Amauri would have got more involved..
We can actually disorganize Milan with more speed in the attack..
Also I feel martinez would be more effective with Diego in the SS position..

Martinez was decent.

I liked his positioning. It's just that the whole lacks a whole lot of something to get this team going.
Martinez has been ok, a few mistakes but some nice touches. I like how he works hard defensively which I didn't expect. He has covered De Ceglie's lack of positioning.

I agree we seem to be missing something to drag us forward. Hopefully Krasic will provide that.

It just seems when teams press us we can't cope.

Nonetheless, this is only a preseason friendly and involves a lot of players who haven't really played much.

Martinez??? wtf he doin'?? that's 12million for fuck sake!!
He wasnt that bad as you say... He wasnt a beast eigther, but the lad was ok. He had some nice movements, pretty solid positioning and he was in defence when needed. Give him time to adapt in the team, and he will do just great.

Pepe has simply had his hands full covering a whole flank, on either side. He doesn't have the time to play offensively, but when he did he misplaced the crosses.

Martinez looks rusty, but at the same time he looks like a player with a nice touch and good dribbling ability. I'd like to see more of him, he has barely played so far. That doesn't take away he's wasted too many balls and has barely created a thing.

Marchisio is just pretty quiet, but usually he can be a silent force in midfield, calm and collected, but he's been wasting possession too much. Not great.

Melo has been a monster so far.

I'd like to see more dynamic forwards though. Diego and Amauri would make a difference to this team, this formation. But so would Krasic, Motta, Aquilani and possibly Bonucci even. We're not playing our starting 11 tonight.

Del Piero did good in the first 30 minutes but later on we had no balls up front.

Trez shouldn't be blamed...it's Trezeguet after all. He disappears but he bangs in too out of nowhere.
