I disagree. When Sali came on it was still 0-0. Playing Gio, DP, Vince and Trez with the game still in the balance would've been an unnecessary risk.

Scoring the second goal and keep them away from our weak defense was a crucial.
If we were efficient enough to score a second one before they would score the first, i think, the odds would rather favor us...

Good effort by the players and good decisions by Ranieri. Can't really complain about much tonight. Luck wasn't on our side and I'm still not sure what Chiellini was sent off for. If it was the tackle on Drogba that's a poor decision and one that could've cost us.

I agree it was a good effort. I think Raineri should have subbed Trez instead of Iaquinta. I love Trez but I don't think his touch was there tonight, obviously not in match shape yet but he wasn't bad. He had a few good headers.
