Camo hasn't been very good so far, but he's still the most 'used' link between midfield and attack. He gets the ball moving and takes drives the team forward.

I liked the way Amauri played, he came for the ball on few occassions and even his dribbling skills or speed weren't great his size made him good at protecting the ball and waiting for others to come.

And Alex needed to place shoot earlier, he waited too long.

Overall, good first half from us I saw positive stuff out there. Our movement has been good with Camoranesi and Poulsen moving nicely around the pitch, with Marchisio holding down the center, and Nedved cutting through the middle. Gotta watch out in the second half though as they will become tired, so time to bring in Giovinco for Pavel.

We have had a couple good chances that we should have finished, especially the Amauri header. The defense looks a little shaky at times but Viola doesn't look the same without Mutu leading the attack. Defensively our fulbacks have looked mediocre at best (like usual) with a lot of dumb mistakes, but Fiorentina couldn't capitalize as their freekicks were absolutely hilarious.

45 minutes left to play and it will be a battle. We have to play better defensively to thwart them from equalizing.

Nedved, Camoranesi , Poulsen and Marchisio have looked like the best players out there.

Amauri and Alex should have a LOT better. :(

Yeah. He hasn't been very productive yet, but he's a handful for the fiorentina defence.

Marchisio improved towards the end of the half but he still struggled imo. Poulsen has been neat and tidy.

DP has been pretty good apart from the missed chance and Amauri has done a lot of good work. Camo's having a bit of an off day and our defence still worries me. Nice assist by Grygera though.

I like it when he gets more centrally and also switches flanks. Good movement, so that is why I thought he's doing well.

Our midfield needs a lot of movement to be successful as we do lack a little creativity, so that movement and position switching is another way to cause problems.

I'm with Dom on this one. Camo has been ineffective. He's capable of a lot better than this.

We need another goal
Definitely. Fiorentina cannot stay this disorganized for this long.

legro has been fantastic
I would agree. Legro has been great. Gilardino has pretty much been all but shut down, and he's playing in Legro's space.

Grygera is doing a nice job mentally. Not just his cross, obviously. But he's showing some good anticipation of play and jumping on the ball.

Molinaro has actually been pretty good except when putting too much on his toss-ins up the pitch.

ADP is off his game at the moment. Amauri is doing ok and may yet break through.

Marchisio is a touch reckless, but showing a good workrate up and down the pitch. Poulsen is doing a decent job too.

Melberg makes me nervous.

Amauri was one of our best players out there, you can even give him half an assist on our goal.

I am watching the game on my TV and I must say Fiorentina may had more posession but we were always more dangerous

Grygera is proving to me time after time that he should be an attacking midfielder and not a defender!!!
He sucks big time while defending but you cant overlook at his dribbling and passing skills

DP missed one of the best chances he had in his entire career

Amauri is ok but still not impressing

overall we look good at the offensive end altough more creativity wouldn`t be a bad thing
our defence performing quite well altough Mellberg almost cost us a goal
but something still missing to me I still don`t see us as solid as we should be
The way I see it we may win this one but a game against Real Madrid could show our lack of solid while defending and I don`t refer only to our defenders I refer it to the midfielders too
Sissoko is solid (he is missing but he is the only solid midfielder we have!!!)

I may get a bad response for saying this but I think signing Senna would have done us good
