It was not an easy chance for DP, but his decision was wrong. That was a difficult shot to make, he should have tried to control the ball, just a little flick of the ball back would put him in a great position where he could shoot or pass.

That said, as Stu implied there was little time to think so we really can't blame him.

All in all we need to get ourselves together, Ranieri must make some changes, so far we're outplayed by Cagliari completelly.

Del Piero should stay on the field. Compared to other players atleast he is moving around.
Almiron is the one who should be subbed. I don't blame the guy, if his father is in some sort of trouble its normal he wouldn't concentrate.

Why make a big fuss about one chance Del Piero created for himself? The team played like a bunch of hangover school boys against a lame Cagliari side that had tons of chances where we just watched without a clue on what to do.

Let's hope Ranieri finds a solution for this lameness with the minimum changes because I can't pick one player that was up to the standard.

Exactly. DP made that chance all by himself and it wasn't even that easy. Plus he has been one of the more productive players on the pitch out there. The bad is mixed with the good but at least he's doing something. I don't get why people are blaming him when we're getting absolutely NOTHING out of anybody else.

Zebina - solid, stupid yellow card though
Andrade - ok but his positioning isn't great
Criscito - struggling, a couple of bad errors
Chiellini - strong game, maybe our best player
Salihamidzic - has done nothing with the ball
Almiron - same as Brazzo
Zanetti - not bad
Nedved - trying but not making anything happen
Del Piero - few nice touches, few bad plays
Trezeguet - invisible

I'd like to see Tiago in the second half. Maybe for Almiron. And even if DP had scored we still need to address the fact that Cagliari are dominating us.
