On this very day in 2000, I was busy getting the very first Juventuz forum online. The software I used then was lame and crashed a lot, eventually replaced with something else. So we don't have any posts left from those very first days. But that's where it all began.

The forum population on December 31 was one, just me. The population in the first few days was two, me and Lisa (that surely none of you remember), the only person I told about my plans to start a forum. She was my right hand for the first couple of years.

Naturally, the first thing I did was to spam all the football forums I knew (Xtratime was one, lots of others that are long since dead), to announce my new forum. :agree:

All of this feels like a lifetime ago. The forum was my life back in those days. The Martin of 10 years ago would make a big deal out of this important anniversary but the Martin today, as you know, is a lot more lazy.
Congrats Martin:tup:

May i ask few questions Martin?
When you created this forum, did you expect that it would last that long? was your aim to make it a world wide forum or you didn't even think of that?

Congratulations Martin! Thank you for creating a home for all English speaking Juventini.

I can confidently say I'd be half the bianconero if it weren't for this site :D

Daily informing of yourself of everything Juve here, indeed makes you more of a fan. Have friends who are Juve fans and who barely ever use the net, let alone Juve related stuff, and when watching Juve games, they ask me for even the most obvious of updates :p "Yes, Amauri still sucks" etc :D

Yeah, sometimes I have to remember not everyone visits Juventuz and have to accept their ignorance. :D

When it comes to Calciopoli stuff, I always tell them, "What do you know other than what you saw on FSC? I can show you hundreds of pages of information (thanks to gsol and Mark) if you'd be willing to read it". That always silences them :p

So this forum was your project. I didn't know that. You deserve congratulation for great work you did. %70 of my english coming from this forum, still not that good but it was utterly bizarre back then.
