No, but seriously, I think this is just trying to be a sub-cool Nick's thread, but Ilike that idea because i think a lot of members should earn their wings here prior to being allowed to post in Nick's thread.
Also: Password protect Nick's thread so that only those with 15k posts or more can get in and only some others that earn the right to the password can get in

no offence to the senior members but its just a thread ....its not a memorial....the regular seniors allways post there with a bit of the others droping in once in a while....

And, I must ask, do you propose to expell Nick from his own thread, seeing as he only has around 7k posts ??
The only way I see that idea as feasible is if it was your forum, but it's not. It's Marty's, and why is it his responsibility to pay for the hosting of your private chat room? If you just want to talk to each other, I can suggest MSN or several other means of communication, instead of trying to claim ownership over something that entirely doesn't belong to you.
