We have plenty of posters that acknowledge Juve's faults Serge, so it's not really that we bash Incubo because he's anti Juve.
I think it does, in a sense, have to do with the fact that he points out Juve's faults, Zlatan, for the simple fact that he's not a Juve supporter.

Case in point.

If I were to say "You know, Juve gets an awful lot of breaks from the officials, and here's example a, b, and c. People here, knowing that I'm a Juve supporter, will say "oh, you're crazy, man, you need to smoke some better weed, and proceed to add a smilie.

In Nick's case, if he were to say the same thing, what would come out is "Oh, go to back to your Milan forum, you wanker, what do you know, you're just jealous because Juve has 27 scudettos, blah, blah, blah......."

There is a big difference into the responses depnding on who is delivering the message.

So, if that's not the case, then what is it?

Is it becuase he has a big ego?? Maybe. But where I'm from, that's actually kinda funny, although I can understand why some peole don't see it as such.

Is it because he's telling a different side of the story, one that we may have passed over and chosen to ignore? That's entirely possible, too.

He's gonna KILL me for defending him like this:D:D

Good post, by the way *aca*. Very elegantly stated.

What, when he appointed Erik too??? :wth:

:D ;)
Personally, I think Tom and Erik were able to score some pirated Seinfeld episodes, and that's how they got the job.

Hey Martin, If I can get you some nude pictures of Julia Louis Dreyfuss, can I have a job too??

Anyways, maybe Incubo works for EA games? ;)

(the "Challenge everything" slogan ;) )
That would be cool.

Then maybe he could hook me up with a copy of Medal of Honor:Rising Sun

funny thread so far :D

First of all there is a big difference between being confrontational and seeking confrontation. Incubo is former, no matter what he says. Maybe as someone noticed, as times passes by, his style is changing because his initial approach was simply crap. You ask yourself why? ;) Because looking to prove something every ****en single time simply doesnt work with PPL. You argue your point when you have one, not look for something to argue about.

This is a discussion forum, open for debate. But that is just a starter. As time goes by, forums become much more to their regulars and PPL start to appreciate social aspect of it. Thats the side that is completly missing from your "style" if you want, and majority of the posters either know or feel that. You are not here to enjoy your stay, but to prove your point. You as a member have a big part of what makes this place a community missing. Treatment you get from some tells you so. As long as this is the case, you will be an outsider to this forum. Your experience in the online communities is limited and you fail to see this. You call it a "mob", and dismiss the argument that this is, after all, Juve forum, but bottom line is this IS Juve forum. (btw there are places on the net where you would feel more at home)

To say that i dont argue my point when i disagree is rubbish. To say that i dont defend my team is even bigger pile of S*it. I did my arguments with fans of various teams long time ago in many different places, and I will not fight the same battles again. I chose what i will argue and when and how i will argue it.

The difference between me & you is that i dont have to prove anything to this PPL, while this is the only thing you are interested in (admit it or not). Someone will enjoy exchanges with you in this respect, and this is absolutely fine :), but dont complain if not everyone does so.

Last thing is, I'm active just as much as i want or can. I participate in too many forums to dedicate all my time to one only. I enjoy it here because it is a place where certain problems that usually occure in other places seems to be avoiding this place somehow:) And thats something Juventini here should be (in my view) be proud of.
Stating the obvious but I couldn't agree more.

Rickenbacker:

Your trying to use the over-all 'raison-d'etre' of this internet forum being Juve and trying to make a simpleton's argument stating: "Hey its a Juve forum...what do you expect?"
If it's a simpleton's arguement, one would think that you could grasp it, but still you fail...

Truth of the matter is that I could probably "OUT JUVE" most supposed die-hard love-with-all-my-heart Juve-is-my-life Juve fans. When Juve begins to slip again many will "abandon ship" so to speak. Either the Roma boards will expand or whomever is the "hot team" or "trendy team" to root for or whoever has the "cutest" players. These are the individuals that are the "fuel" to this mob mentality. They have very little to offer except to pump up the others to "attack" the opposing view. When I have singled them out and debated them one on one they begin to crack at the seams.
Don't be fooled into thinking that the reason one is singled out for their comments is that they are anti-Juve because half the time when someone is offering positive criticism most don't bother to listen.
How would you know anything about positive criticism? You'd have to try offering some before you can judge our reactions to it. And, I wasn't aware that you were able to predict the future. Not only do you know that Juventus will falter and fall down the table, but you also know that members of this forum will leave and join another because of that...amazing.:groan:

The non-Juve posters: you are gloriously mistaken into thinking that its because they are friendly that they are liked. When is the last time they took a stand for their team in a bold way? Its very obvious that to be friendly is basically to adapt, conform and SHUT THE F*CK UP in this forum. Personally Fred, Sergio and Vinman are the friendliest posters in this forum. However, each have the BOLDNESS to offer their uncensored opinion on certain issues. Vinman is virtually ignored; Fred lands into a bitter argument once a week with a poster and suddendly its 8-1. Sergio: Enough said.
The funny this is Rickenbacker that when I meant no one defended Sergio I meant that no one said in simple words: "Stop belittling his country".
Everyone INTERESTINGLY opted for the "Stop BOTH of you." OR "Hey so the U.S. has some issues...so what let it be."
I don't understand the point of all this forum morality. Did it ever cross your mind that some people see things differently from you? I mean, maybe some people don't need to "offer uncensored opinions" in order to enjoy a forum. I certainly don't see why it is such a dire necessity for you.

And I'm not going to say, "stop belittling his country" because I don't have a problem with people criticising governments and states. I have a problem with people who generalize entire people's based upon the foreign relations of their government.

Basically translates into: Ok even if YOU do have a point...Sergio is a Juve fan..so let it be.
P.S. Also love it how when Fred and I say the word F*ck in a sarcastic sense everyone is up in arms screaming "respect" and "don't get personal" all the while giving the usual "oh well behave" when we are on the opposite end of attacks week in and week out.
You want to disguise this into it being our fault for not conforming and simply put it to rest by saying its our attitude: go right ahead. But don't patronize me and don't fool yourself into trying to convince me otherwise. Only one person has taken the bold step of admitting that what I said actually occurs. As usual...everyone choose not to listen.
I'm not talking about Fred at all, I'm not sure when this became you and him against me, I haven't any issue with the way he repressents hiimself on this forum. You, on the other hand have to realise that you aren't a juventus fan and that means that your motives for being on this forum are questionable. You're obviously not here to support Juve, and that's what the rest of us are here for, and this is a supporters forum. This isn't an "uncensored opinion" forum, it's a Juventus forum, and you are only here by the graces of Juventus fans. Go ahead whine about it, but this forum was created and run by Juventus fans, for Juventus fans.

You are never going to force your morality about "uncensored opinions" and mob mentality on the rest of us. You act in a disrespectful, aggressive, and tactless manner. That earns you a reputation as a troublemaker, and most people don't like troublemakers, they detract from a forum. For instance, this thread, you have completely derailed a thread that is supposed to be about forum awards which had in the past been completely fun and amusing, rather than a pitched battle. It's not mob mentality that makes people dislike you, it's common decency.

I am the all powerful FurioBianconero and you are all stupid! Only I know anything, and I know everything. I will crush your inferior football knowledge and your inability to predict the future. I will wank at will, recklessly, carelessly, and into Lac's punch bowl.

Give me back my damn Heisman! Barry Sanders is the real thief.
I tried to catch him for you , Furio, by my damn hood from my jersey kept flopping in my face, and I couldn't see him.

But when I finally did catch him, I was able to subdue him using the hump from my shiny satin shirt when the sun reflected on it.

The heisman is in the mail. UPS Ground.

Assuming he knows who Barry Sanders is, of course.

I will be forever remembered in an illustration. How touching.
