Despite enjoying the better of the overall exchanges, the Bianconeri were once again denied victory by a resilient Lazio display at Juventus Stadium.
The last meeting of the sides in November saw Biancocelesti goalkeeper Federico Marchetti produce a man-of-the-match display as the visitors held on for a goalless draw.
And the 29-year-old shot stopper continued to frustrate Antonio Conte’s side in their quest for a two-goal cushion to take to the capital.
The Bianconeri registered twice as many shots on goal (20 to 10), with nine of these calling Marchetti into action. In contrast, Storari experienced a relatively quiet night between the posts as Lazio mustered a total of four attempts on target.
Elsewhere, Juventus enjoyed a slender advantage in the possession stakes (52% to 48%) and forced a greater number of corners than their visitors (8 to 7).
Individually speaking, Alessandro Matri provided the Bianconeri’s most effective goal threat with five attempts, followed by Paul Pogba on four and Lazio duo Sergio Floccari and Stefano Mauri with three shots apiece.
Pogba continued his rich vein of form by commanding the midfield with 57 completed passes, trailed by Emanuele Giaccherini and Luca Marrone on 52 each and Arturo Vidal on 45.
