54 victories, 14 draws and 10 defeats. Previous encounters between Juventus and Inter involved in championship matches in Turin are clearly in favour of the Bianconeri. This gap isn’t noticed with respect to inferior series teams, also highlighted by difference of goals scored: 139 v 61.

The typical result is 1-0, occurred 19 times, including the last clash which saw the Bianconeri overcome their opponents thanks to a header from Alessandro Matri. Then there are 2-0 (ten times), 2-1 (seven times), 3-2 (5 times), 3-0 and 3-1 (three times), 4-1 and 4-2 (twice). In 4 circumstances, a result never reproduced during the history has been recorded.

On 17 May 1942, Juventus overcame Inter 4-0 thanks to goals from Sentimenti III, Bellini (a double) and the Albanian Lustha.

Another goal fest of similar proportions occurred on 3 March 1957. The Bianconeri triumphed 5-1 with a goal from Umberto Colombo, followed by Rebizzi who equalized on penalty, and then with four more strikes from Conti, Oppezzo, Montico and Robotti from the spot.

Again with a difference of 4 goals, but with a result that more resembled a tennis game, Juventus beat Inter 6-2 in 1932. It was a surprising result because the Nerazzurri recovered from 2-0 behind on the 8th minute of the second half, and then conceded 4 in the last half an hour. Juventus scorers were: Maglio (with a double), Ferrari, Munerati, Orsi and Vecchina.

Finally, the 9-1 demolition of Inter at the end of the season 1960-61 is memorable. Inter were in conflict with the Federation and fielded their youth team in which Sandro Mazzola made his debut. His penalty proved to be the only goal for the Nerazzurri. The game star was Omar Sivori who netted 6 times, thus setting his Italian championship record.
