I think we could buy a LB right now, but they can have some negotiations for midfielders opened and are waiting to sell Poulsen to finalise one of them, possibly still D'Agostino - or maybe sell Poulsen in order to loan Diarra and use all of the remaining money for LB and CB.

Even if its true, we still have around 10-12 mil from the loans, co own deals and Mellberg. (Thats the money we offered to Udine+half a player for Dago)
Enough to buy us Santacroce and Santos!! (6mil each)

I will be pleased if they just do that. Secco has ruined our five year plan some years ago. We should at least minimize the damage. Lets be realistic, the money Secco has wasted on subs, will never return to our hands!

And if we sell Poulsen, Treze or Tiago to get someone like Ledesma or Dago for depth, that would be even better. Probably the best we can do atm, nearly optimal! But i cant understand why the CM comes first!!
And the defense is always ignored!! We wont raise enough funds to buy both Dago and some defenders, why should we repeat the same mistake??
We cant trust Marchisio, but we cant trust Grygera, Legro and Molinaro!

Lets buy a fullback asap, then try to sell Tiago or Poulsen (why not Zebi or Grygera too) and if Secco fails to do that again and we cant afford a good CM, lets bring Santacroce a an RB of similar value.
We should end up with a defender and a CM, or 2 defenders at least!
Or with two defenders and a CM at best!

The worst case scenario is to overpay for one overhyped CM again...

I know. But it doesn't mean we have nothing to spend. Our priority is a midfielder from what I've heard and then they'll concentrate on defence, so if we're targeting a midfielder whose asking price is 15 m euro we can as well have 10 m for midfield area and still we're "blocked", because we lack a few millions.
Our priority is not midfield it's de -fucking-fense

Several newspapers are reporting we already spent our whole transfer budget.

our signings so far

Diego - 24m
Cannavaro - 0

so we had 24 million euros for reinforcing our miserable squad and it has gone. I didn't expect us spend big like madrid or inter but i didn't expect us spending like a provincial club as well. if we don't buy a new left back, a new right back, a new mc, we won't improve our game.

i seriously don't know how they convinced Buffon for their ''exciting plan''. Neither Grosso, Dossena nor Ledesma are exciting.

i wouldn't blame clowns in our board if they didn't lie about our summer plans. since summer 2006 they have talked big and failed miserably at the end.

our hope for next season depends on sales. poulsen fucked it up, tiago fucked it up several times, players like marchionni, zebina, grygera doesn't worth more than 2 million euros. we have lost two of most promising talents in italy like motta(secco's lack of vision) and criscito(thanks to ranieri) and now we are trying to replace them with cattles like dossena and ujfalusi.

we can't depend on sales, we are not palermo or porto ffs. we started to lose our giant club identify. can somebody tell me what is the real reason behind of our financial crisis?

btw, i am talking about today's situation if we win lottery or j.elkann starts to love this club things can change before the new season.

Italian league is the 3rd best league in the world, and can't compete with first and second, and Juve is the 3rd best team in Seire A, and can't compete (in the market) with the top 2. We better start accepting this and live with it.

I would welcome a rich fag sheiks thou, if he will spend like those in England and Spain..

You can't take the league as a whole in this case.

Only two teams in Spain have considerably more spending power than us just now.

Juve competing with top 2 I meant Milan and Inter (Not the EPL or LA LIGA) in the market , it is sad but true, even the Milan who suffer financial crisis, attracts the players more than us.

The top players in the market (Ronaldo, Kaka) only come to Italy if they are not wanted in Spain or England, and if they have to choose a club in Italy, they prefer Milan clubs over Juve and the rest. This is the case. Juve is not a super major team in Europe anymore, players are not dying to play for Juve, you know what I mean?

Top players you mean!
Thats relatively true and we should be honored Diego chose to join.
He was really determined to do so and probably because of our prior history.
There is still a generation who were raised to admire Juventus!
In a decade from now, they will be nowhere to found...
