Maybe the reason we are in the top high ranked teams in UEFA's official rank list, maybe can help a little bit, Italy's rank too.
Platini could pull some strings and make it happen, if there ever was a need for an exception, then we r the case, we are not a serie b team material, we didnt ended up there normally, everybody knows that, that would be logic...

On the other hand Uefa tried to force Italian federation for extra sanctions against us, why would they change that and become friendly now?
They just hate us, Europe hates Juve, we will not given the change to win any uefa competition the years to come...

We all await further clarification from the Federation, UEFA or Juventus them selves. Something is not clear about their statement, but I will be more than happy to go for a UEFA cup seat and snatch it off everyone next season..

    ..

I find this whole UEFA license issue ridiculous. How could the lower teams make profit if they're not allowed to enter the competition? They might as well just sell the club and retire...

guys guys .. what all this commotion is all about ?

I don't understand what the UEFA had to do with giving us extra sanctions after the scandal .. for all I remember it was FIFA who butted in and ordered that ..

However, if .. just a simple if .. Juve was granted a UEFA cup place or even an Intortoto cup place, what keeps the English FA from asking a place for Sunderland ??same goes for other federations ...

Here rises the other question .. the teams who are already eligible for Intortoto cup in Italy itself .. What keeps them from appealing for their deserved right ??

I think that the teams in the list are just the teams who had already got the license in the past few years .. Look at the league table, Torino and Parma are 13th and 15th respectively .. How are they eligible for any of the UEFA competitions ??
There's something icky in this, and as Yamen said, we have to wait for things to clarify ..

This is just a statement of which clubs meet the criteria of playing in UEFA competitions, meaning have finances in order, stadiums that meet the security requirements, etc. That is the reason we are allowed and Ascoli for example isn't. Even if Ascoli finished 1st they'd still have to meet some requirements in order to be allowed to play in Europe. That's all this is, no one's getting anything unearned. How can people be so gullible...

even so the i think only 2 clubs from each country could enter the intertoto, anyway i don't want ths to happen, i'd rather have our team rest after such a long Serie B, with players get familiar with new players arriving and come to Serie A in a much better form

shall i keep this thread open?

i seriously doubt this means anything meaningful but if i was a juve director i would go hell for leatehr attempting to pursue a place in the intertoto. we should be able to win this easily and with european football comes the attraction of bigger players to believe in our project. plus as the intertoto starts early in the season and serie a starts a bit later than most leagues we would be able to steal a march on out opponents in terms of match fitness and startthe new campaign with a bang............

but that is just foolhardy dreaming i am afraid

I'm not sure how many teams qualify for Uefa IC per country. One or two?
Atalanta will most probably finnish on 8th place as Samdoria and Udinese will finnish on 9th and 10th place. But Atalanta will not be allowed to participate. So they will be replaced by Samp or Udinese (it depends of how many teams qualify for IC per country). If not then maybe this is our chanse.
