The question is, will he accept being Gigi's Sub??? I doubt that.
Yeah I feel you. Abbiati deserves to be first goalkeeper. He's too good to be a sub. And goalkeeper subs hardly ever plays.

and we all know Gigi is not gonna give him that place. But anyhow, It seems he's happier with us than there in San Siro.

Of course, Gigi's above all. But for Abbiati, being second goalkeeper, it sounds like it would hold back his career. I wonder what he thinks about it. I would like to hear a statement from him.

Hmm he might just be happy to be playing again. I would love to have Abbiati stay with us, but he's too good to be just a sub, he would be an ideal starter for any sub-top club.

Seems like a good job to me.
Abbiati performed extremely well.
The best thing in the news(text) is that he said "we finished first in the C.L group",so he is ours.

I think Abbiati needs a change. His career has only gone down deeper in the can the longer he's been at Milan. And when you compare us to other top clubs, we do need a legitimate backup. Chimenti's creaking bones are starting to become audible over the TV (I had to cover my ears against Milan), and about the best thing you can say about Bonnefoi at this stage is that he is pretty much untested.

As for Zebina, I still give him props for what he did early last season. But then his hacking tendencies took over ... and he started competing, and winning, against Trez for the annual Juve Man o' Glass competition. We need something at least more reliable at right back so Zambro can oust Chiellini from my misery.

Indeed, Abbiati has improved his game alot, he made only one mistake, against mighty Bayern Munchen. I hope u dont burn my house down after saying he is equally good as Buffon

Yes and the bigest question to ourselves is what we will do if Gigi has a period of bad perfomance and we dont want to put him on the bench for Abbiati?

If Gigi is hesitant to come back just yet, Abbiati can serve both as a starter in goal and motivation/competition for Gigi to get his form back.

This is if Capello is ever true to his word that there are no 'untouchables' (which we know not to be entirely true, but...).
