Meira, if he comes at a cheap enough deal, would be a good partner to either Milito or Pepe, most likely Milito.

I have seen Meira in many games and I must admit he seems very solid, he looks like he has enough ability to read the game for serie A.

He's better than Milito, better than Carvalho, and has more strength than Carvalho.
He also has good ball control, and tackling/marking ability.

He can play CB, RB, or DM, Preferably Center-Back or DM.

    29 is not too old...and defenders should always be experienced
    That's true too, but some people might think differently. Juventus needs players that could play for a long time to give them enough time to make more money and rebuild the team, that's the only reason age might be a problem now.

    a leader in defence has to be 26-...
    so 29 isn't old, so i'm with u at that point :D

    wow.. I always believe he was under appreciated at Chelsea..
    but to say he is better than Carvalho..

    Meira has more composure and he doesn't take risky chances, Carvalho commits clumsy chances here and there, I liked Meira more than Carvalho I think he did more for Portugal than Carvalho did.
