World, at least my corner of it, ain't ready for it. Don't have a problem dropping milk or eggs, it's all about your personal cooking skills and know-how, but the inconveniences it causes when socializing with family and friends makes it impossible. Every time a vegan visits someone he's giving them a headache on what to prepare for dinner, everytime a vegan and his friends are picking a restaurant, he's forcing everyone to narrow it down to handful options that often are not comfortable for others not used to the food. Or they go somewhere mainstream and the poor guy is eating only a side dish with ketchup, again making people uncomfortable. Until that changes and its more available and widespread, I dont want to inflict this upon those close to me, they shouldn't be impacted so much by choices I make

I hear you bud. Pescatarian/vegetarian is no problem but totally turning your back on every animal by-product becomes really extreme and limits you even on social levels as you put it.
