Yea, it will interfere with the overall look. We will probably have something similar to Sunderland and west brom

I dont like the home one but the other two are some nice ideas. I still prefer nike

I like Adidas as a brand a lot more than Nike, but I agree Nike has been making some top jerseys for us lately especially the away ones.

That saying if the difference in money is greater than 4-5mln I wouldn't mind a switch at all, and those designs in the link you posted aren't bad at all.

the second one looks like bayern lol

for the home, they should go with the argentina design.
Still better than looking like Arsenal with the yellow one, though I like it very much.

Agree about the Argentina part.

I don't think the shoulder stripes look that bad as long as you go with either black or white ones & not some non-matching color like Milan & Madrid have done. The main downside to it though is that you know they'll be on your shirt every single season, nothing innovative in that respect.

man, that sucks. nike makes the best kits.
Exactly.

For a guy who wears red loafers, that is shitty taste right there. Three stripes on the shoulders just don't work season after season, when your home jersey is all stripes. Our kits have been way better than Meelan's primarily for that reason. As have Inter's.

If the kit is plain, then Adidas, while still being inferior to Nike in the design department, is still ok. But stripes? No way.

they really will. those shoulder stripes will kill the whole thing.
Exactly.

Adidas over Nike? Yes please. Too bad Tacchini isn't a kit manufacturer, that would be sweet :agree:

Most people do. I used to like Adidas as a kid, so that probably has to do with the classic retro 70s-80s style. Current day Adidas gets pissed all over by new school Nike.

adidas makes terrible stripped jerseys

They could, but what I'd really like is Juve and Nike to one to an agreement. The worst part about such big name kit deals, is that's they tend to be long term deals, and I really would hate to be stuck with Adidas for the next decade. 3 years is still ok. Hopefully, Sheik Mansour would've bought Kappa by then.

Is not just money according to that report, seemingly. Nike would pay us the money but they seem to want to a stake in merchandise marketing. Or something of that sort. I hope there's still window for negotiation, but what's bothering me is the fact that they've signed on a deal with Roma, and may decide to concentrate on them, rather than give us what we want. Even though, it could be argued that we are one of their flagship teams.

Also you would think Nike would consider the fact Juventus being the most supported Italian Club.

Fuck adidas they make shit, would much rather get puma, their azzurri jerseys they made, especially for the euros, were so classy and so perfect, i would rather have kappa then fucking adidas, hell, id rather have macron.... ok maybe not macron but still, you get my point
would be the best if we just stay with nike, really love their juve jackets, tracksuits etc

I used to think adidas make shitty jerseys for striped clubs before Chivas signed with them, but since then they have made for their kits to look somehow decent

And also, they make some very good designs for the away and 3rd kits

I wouldn't mind that much if we end up with adidas tbh, just hope we get ourselves a good deal. It will be weird, to see them with adidas now tho.

Adidas has the best fit in football jerseys. That is a fact. They also make the best away and plain kits ever. That's another fact.

I really don't mind the stripes on the shoulders (even possible on the shorts :weee:). The socks too.

I'm a sucker for adidas, so I'm biased, but if they're rumored to be paying us more than Nike, then even more so.

Their fit is great :agree:

it'll be curious to see how the stripes will blend.

Like I said, they are not bad for solid kits (our away kits) but their designs on striped jerseys are restricted coz of the stripes on the shoulders. Unless, somebody from their design team ups their game, our home jerseys are going to be very boring for the duration of the deal we have in mind, hopefully, a short term one. Would be great if they reverted to their retro logo too. The relationship with Nike has just been like forever. It's kinda hard to see us go from Nike to Adidas of all possible brands.

And talking of facts, there is almost no disputing that Nike is by far the best when it comes to design, way ahead of Adidas, in a head to head. Also, Nike has a pretty good fit themselves, so I don't see how Adidas has a massive edge on them in that context.

They won't blend bro. unless someone finds a way to integrate the three stripes differently, I don't see us with innovatively different home kits every year. Adidas peaked in the 90s. Nike is where it's at now. Kappa, is where it's always been. That too turin based.
