Roma didn't play great last night, but Totti played fairly well and Montella seems to have found some form. They played their strongest team, Cassano started but was replaced by Montella. They didn't cope with crosses from Lazio very well and without Samuel I think they'll be very weak in defence.

Milan will have a few players out I believe either suspended or injured and so too Inter - hopefully this will help our cause, who knows, maybe Empoli can give Milan some troubles on Saturday. Inter have a very tricky looking game away to Brescia.

If I can see us losing one game, then it'll be the Lazio-Juve game. So we can't afford to lose any other, meaning that we have to at least draw with Roma.

Luliano has been hit with the flue and will not feature on Saturday against Roma. This has ruined Lippi's plan on resting montero for Barca .... now whats he gonna do?.... i think he will play Di Vaio in midfield again and move Tudor back into defence.

I agree with Vinman.

Lazio look battered and beaten, and it's only a matter of time before Parma catch them.

If we don't have any injury problems then I think that we can get a positive result in Rome :)

at least draw....i think so...and absolutely we can't afford to lose....it will affect our match against barca....

but it seems like their defend is weaker...the another key is watch out for totti....i think we can win if we can stop his movement...

di vaio should not in mid again....plz...

I'm afraid that we could only get a draw. Roma seems to find their good form back recently :devil: while our performances have been a bit disapointing lately. Totti, Cassano and Montela are on their good form now while DP, DV and Neddy are still not 100% fit.

What worries me most is that this must be a very tough game and our players might be exhausted for Bacelona game,or even worse, some might get injured.

    Anyway FORZA JUVE!!!!

I think that Tudor may stand in for Montero.. and so Tacchi should play alongside davids...

davids has been not that influential in that game against bologna..

hope this game will jolt him up too.....

    Once again..

    my prediction:

    Juve 2-1 Roma

    1-15mins Juve 1-0 [Di Vaio/Camoranesi*]

    55-70 mins Juve 2-0 [Del Piero/Tacchinardi*]

    75-90 mins Juve 2-1 [Totti]

which could result in a frantic final 5-10 mins for Juve..

*Either one will score or create that particular goal..

    I'll :wallbang: if Juve loses........

Even though we have always looked forward to our derby matches, or the ones against Inter in the Derby d'Italia or even the matches against Milan, I think our battles against Roma are the more special and intriguing. It's not news anymore that the managers of both clubs do not get along and there have been many well-publicized incidents between Moggi and Sensi in the past.

Roma's approach to this match will be totally different to ours. Unlike us, who will have to defend a Scudetto title we won last May, Roma will be more relaxed and will play in a 'nothing to lose' manner. The type of manner that has helped the likes of Lazio and Chievo excel this season. You see, Roma have already booked their ticket to the UEFA Cup last Wednesday by beating Lazio in the Coppa Italia and reaching the final against Milan - who will play in the Champions League next season instead - and thus, Roma will play the remaining matches just for pride and honour.

I'm only worried about this match because it coincides with a severe drop of form in our play lately. It all started in our unconvincing derby win, after that came the draw against Barca - which showed a little bit of improvement - and finally last week's comeback against Bologna in which we started badly but scored 2 goals in quick succession to get a draw.

I hope the Juve that will show up on Saturday night will be the Juve that won against Inter and Milan so convincingly. We need to be lethal in attack and that will depend on Nedved and Del Piero, who haven't been playing greatly but now is the right time for them to come back, it should also be easier with Samuel's suspension. On the other end, our defense should be more cautious and not let any unnecessary goals like the ones we let in against Barca and Bologna. It seems that Iuliano got the flu, which means Lippi will have to play Ferrara and Montero, or maybe rest Montero for the Barca clash and play Tudor in defense.

Finally, the match will be played on Saturday night - the last match in Week 29 - which means that we will already know the results of Inter and Milan's matches against Brescia and Empoli respectively.

Good Luck to the boys !!

I'm actually glad Iuliano can't play! Whenever he was in the line-up the defence didn't work well! Because of him? YES!!!

As for Lazio not doing well ... they are gonna do well against us! They always do.

AS Roma coach F Capello has revealed today in a special interview with the Abu Dabi sports channel that 4 players will be missing for the game against Juventus , 3 of these 4 are out thru injury / Candela , Cafu , Delvecchio . While Samuel will miss the match thru suspension .

just imagine Roma's defence without these 3 players !!!?
