Not at all, Atalanta, Genoa, Roma, Inter, Palermo and Milan are all very tough at this level, and there were some other teams with standout academies from around the world; Chivas Guadalajara, Gremio, Spartak Moscow, Anderlecht, Maccabi Haifa and Dukla Prague (youth club of Pavel Nedved and Josef Masopust no less). Not just anyone gets an invite to Viareggio, although they do like to give invites to teams around less established countries.
