Ranocchia is pimp. Didn’t know much about him until this season but he’s put himself on the map as a prospect. Same age as Fagioli too. I think I said it before but I think he’s the best set piece taker we've got in the entire organization lol. He gives me Locatelli vibes.

Dybala is the best set piece taker.

But he has similar characteristics indeed, is strong, good in finding passes and has a decent shot. I like him, had a great year last season aswel, but less impressive than Fagioli.

I dont know about Rannochia but putting him aside - We havent got a great FK taker since Pjanic lost his powers..

The thing that makes Ranocchia a better set piece taker than Dybala to me is that Dybala is only a threat from certain spots and ranges. Ranocchia is ambidextrous and is a threat from anywhere. Actually, I can’t remember the last player I saw take free kicks with both feet. Maybe Sneijder? Either way, it’s rare.

Hernanes could also do that.

Ive seen Ranocchia shooting set pieces to the moon a few games ago, let’s not exaggerate. He has potential that for sure, but saying that he’s the best at the club is a bridge to far for now
