It’s not like we are selling Messi and prime nesta. Soule had a decent 6 months followed by an unimpressive second half to the season. While the other guy hardly played.

If we sell them for 60-70 combined - which is pure plusvalenza - this could finance our whole summer market with quality players.

Raise the level of the squad —> success (getting to the last 16 in cl and compete for scudetto) —> sponsor money. And when our finances are secured again we can think about refusing such offers.

Don’t forget we don’t even have a freakin sponsor yet

no offense turk but do you even read your own posts. this is simply false on multiple levels

first of all, paratici era, covid and uefa/figc personal vendetta wrecked the club's finances. signing those players is a consequence of the difficulties, not the cause of them.

then those are cheap players. neither of them, not even a combination of them is an issue when it comes to sustainability. all of them cost below 7m per season which is pretty low. (and we're talking about cost, not quality.)

and then the club has to break even on the long run, how is it even a question. we did it under marotta, we started to pile up losses when paratici and agnelli's cl obsession took over and we suddenly had the 3rd largest wage bill in football with a barely top 10 revenue. hindsight is not that complicated, you just have to follow the facts. ronaldo cost the club ~90m PER SEASON, and played alongside ramsey, arthur, bentancur or mckennie. not so fun fact: initially arthur cost more than the trio you mentioned. and paratici actually signed him, it wasn't just some gds/cds headlines keeping your blood pressure high
first of all, financial collapse began in marotta era. remember the time he spent hundreds of millions euros on second or third players with no resale value? what is the point of trying to cover up that clusterfuck of failure from that inter piece of shit?

second, the reason giuntoli is selling huijsen and soule is not for balancing the books but financing his long waited life goal, zinedine koopmeiners. we can totally do without him and tobobo and let our fruits grow here instead of selling them raw for half of their value.

and an other fact from your alternative universe. just check the financial results over time, they are very clear:

not all players are to be sold. when it comes to especially older players, you simply use them while you can, even if there's no resale value left. nedved had no resale value when he was signed, yet he was a brilliant player for us. same for barzagli, pirlo, pjanic, or chiellini. "no resale value" is not an objective metric at all, it's just talk.

soulé was about to be sold even before the koopmeiners rumors started. the fact that the club has a large debt and needs revenue (and the eventual transfer targets are unrelated anyway)

again, this is very simple: club needs revenue from players' sales, and the players with an actual market might get sold. it's not the end of the youth project. yes, we might regret some of the sales. i'm not a huge fan of huijsen, but i'm not too happy about soulé being on the market. it would be cool to see him in a system using actual wingers. but there will be new players who'll emerge from the next gen project. comenencia, hasa, sekulov, barbieri, nonge, muharemovic or daffara don't look any worse than our earlier pelés, messis and yashins.

bottom line is i wouldn't have a meltdown over any sale, especially considering the club's state. thank god we have the next gen, without them, we'd be in much deeper shit

Soule, Huijsen, Enzo, Illing are all cheap in terms of wages. I personally don't think the squad is that bad and wouldn't make any assessments on any players playing Allegri ass cheek ball.

I get that we need money but what people are paying for these guys today is way less than what their value will be in a year or two. And at that point we woul dhave thrown money(and quality production) out the window.

Next Gen have been put in the southern division (Serie C is split regionally into northern, central and southern). So lots of travelling for the team, whereas the other teams have one trip north.
While the other northern U23 teams only have to travel to central or other northern locations.

Look at the map carefully again to get the point he is making lol
I understand the map I just don't know how somehow we were the team selected to travel lol

It was from a draw process. I just find it funny how it was always going to be Juve in Girone C.
Thanks for the reply as I thought the FIGC just handpicked us or something lol

Curse of JJ continues eh
