Their attacks make sense. They move extremely well. Some very solid, even heroic defending from our side prevented an earlier lead.
On the other side, our attacks just don't work. We don't move that well as them and the individual attempts to do something don't work against a solid midfield and defense, as Inter's undoubtedly is.

I'm not sure what will happen. As things stand right now it should be a 2:0 or 3:0 win for them, but one goal in their net and everything can happen.

Wasn’t that already the narrative behind not lining them all up from the start of this ‘must win’ game?

What i said was basically to put Chiesa on in the second half to play alongside Vlahovic and Yildiz now while we are also a goal down…
Parking the bus we conceded and with three attackers they will put 5

Disappointing to be behind. I think we have played ok and were growing into the game. We completely fell asleep on their goal. Pavard was wide open for far too long and Gatti is slow to react.

Vlahovic showed why he is so much better when he doesn't have time to think. He completely fluffed our best chance. I thought he was having a good game.

Bremer has been magnificent. Danilo good too (although not sure if he was at fault for Pavard being free in the goal). Kostic, Locatelli and McKennie have been good. McKennie needs to stop floating the crosses in though, Vlahovic is not going to win those. Locatelli needs to be braver to take on shots/probing passes.

Yildiz looks one of the few to open them up but has given the ball away far too often. He looks like he is rushing too much.

Strange but it's becoming a habit, Mackennie is the only player who wants to fight, the others are passive and endure the match, no initiative taken, (of course Bremer is not part of this group of molusks).
Passable mention for Kostic

Have you not seen how we play to stronger teams under Allegri the past 10 years?
It is always like that.. 1-0 is not the end of the world. Keep it like that till 80'
Then, push forward for an equaliser..

Have seen this attitude so many times..

Bro I understand but there was nothing today that suggests we are doing anything, at least we needed to react better. There was zero gameplan today

Gatti is showing what he knows best....

We are in fact not parking the bus in the ‘traditional way’, we are just being outplayed and losing easy balls, with Inter blocking and doubling down on our main creative players in Cambiasso and Yildiz, the defensive line tried to stay up quite often but were pushed back and caught out because our attack is mostly nullified outside of a few good surprising runs from Mckennie… in my opinion we need an extra dribbler /attacking player to be more unpredictable.

Not a single threat from Cambiasso.Kostic,so-so but not good. Our mid sucks.Their midfield is not something exceptional. Their best player is Thiram, not Lautaro.
