We know what we get from Rabiot and Bentancur. We have seen it season after season. Same with Berna. We should not bet on miraculous fixes, we should rid ourselves of broken shit and invest in alternatives. Better to play cheap talents or cheap older proven players, than playing broken shit year after year.
