Our team is more imbalanced than PSG even with all their superstars. What a shame.
The difference between 2 CMs in front of the CBs and 3 CMs is just so massive. If we could just find a way to have one of Ronaldo or Dybala literally WALK to the wing so you can play 5 across, we would be much better.

Lots to be encouraged by. The team already looks a lot more solid, which will hopefully improve as the season goes on.

Ramsey has been surprisingly good and I've seen him win more tackles in the past 2 games than the past 2 seasons. Dybala looks sharper, could just be down to wanting a new contract but he's done well.

Also like that there seems to be a clear instruction for the midfield 2 to get forward past the strikers. It hasn't paid off but it has been badly missing under Sarri and Pirlo.

Negatives are that the midfield still isn't controlling the tempo enough and we were cut open a couple of times, although many through our own slack passing from the back.

Our midfield has been doing good. We still miss something but it’s better than expected. We seem also to be organized again, we give less space away compared to most games last year.
I wouldn't call that good, but better than expected based on personnel standards. Bentancur is always almost does something right before turning it over.

Yup and atalanta might just be one of serie a's most difficult opponents.

Team looks like a Locatelli signing away from being really good.
I think he will improve us and make a difference. Even just having a physically imposing player in midfield in front of the defence will help massively.

We badly need to improve our creativity and goals from midfield and control of the ball. I really hope he can add this but it is a big ask.

To win Serie A you have to win against lesser teams and I'm confident Allegri will deliver. To have something to say in the CL we need a DM at least.

The team looks better than last season, but I am not satisfied with the midfield.
I have a feeling we are still dominated in the game. Will see on second half.
I really would want Locatelli to see what upgrade we could have on the game.
