Juventus have become the first Serie A club to perform their own version of the internet dance craze Harlem Shake.
The 35-second clip, published this afternoon across the Bianconeri’s official social networks, begins with Leonardo Bonucci speaking to the press at the club’s Media Center in Vinovo.
The defender - flanked by Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella - is seemingly oblivious to the unexpected intruder as he continues to reflect the on the team’s most recent performance.
But when the bass drops, the Juve quartet spring into action, embracing the madness by performing impromptu dance moves in a variety of wacky outfits.
Bonucci bops along in boy scout attire, Pogba cuts some devastating shapes as Zorro, Vidal rules the roost with a golden crown perched on his head while Quagliarella lets his fetching blonde quiff do the talking.
The four players were joined by team-mates Alessandro Matri and Andrea Pirlo, with the latter eager to capture every moment of the behind-the-scenes tomfoolery on his mobile phone.
And after Antonio Conte’s men enacted their own attempt at the worldwide phenomenon, we’re now challenging Bianconeri supporters to go one better by sending in your own Juventus-themed Harlem Shake performances.
These can be submitted by creating a video response to the original Harlem Shake posted on Juventus’ official YouTube page. Another option is to upload your videos on Twitter, using the #JuveHarlemShake hashtag.
The best attempts will be broadcast on the Bianconeri’s social networks.
