The board had resigned as a whole, putting the decision in the hands of the owners, but their future will be decided on June 29th.

In the meanwhile there will be time to see how the mess evolves and, if the situation will get clearer, I guess there are some chances that the resignations won't be accepted.

One last thing: Moggi, Giraudo and Bettega are not just members of the board, but they also work for it as general director, administrator and vice-president. This means that they're still our Triade and will keep their jobs until the (new) board won't decide to fire them.

Doesn't it strike you as odd how many weird articles coming from the Italian media lately?

Padovano and drugs
Vialli and the hashisj (get confirmation from 1897-forum)

There is an entire media industry (controlled by YOU KNOW WHO) behind all this and money are being earnt and I won't give up on the Triade being not guilty just yet.

Forza la Triade - and the great work you've done over the years

Maybe the time has come for a cleanup, it's fine with me

But Moggi - Giraudo - Bettega - from the bottom of my heart - You are appreciated!

That the next board meeting will be on June 29th and only then we'll know if the resignations will be accepted and, in that case, who will be/remain in the new board.

Exactly. They resign now, taking the heat off Juve, and when the stockholders vote them back in, are more powerful than when they started.

I think this is similar to the steroid allegations going on in American Baseball now. There will be an investigation and they will make efforts to clean up the sport going forward. I'm sure there is a lot of corruption in all of Serie A, so punishing one club would not make sense. However, if something like this happens again clubs could face losing points or even relegation.

Just my humble opinion....

I hope they will vote them back in, because, yeah, they would come back stronger and more powerful, also against media attacks.

Your humble opinion, my man, is the same as mine

I hope everyone here understands this part?

I know I'm repeating what I've said earlier now but: We should NOT take the fall for every club in the Italian league system.

A thorough investigation should bring down every single culprit, not just one

i thought this decision made by the board is more concern about the financial problem rather than the "scandal", we will see what club response after we lift our 29th trophy and finish the press silence.

It makes sense, but, unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to poor Pantani. He was judged guilty by the press (but was acquitted in the trial) and paid for everyone. In a way, that's what happened with our doping trial and what could happen here.

Do any of you really think that the other Italian club directors, or directors in other leagues don’t try to influence people who can "help" their team - well of course they do!! Just like directors in other firms try to influence or manipulate people who can further their case. This is how the business world works. You network, and try in any way to make them help you in reaching your goals! Its a grey area, but as long as you don’t cross the line where you break the law it just means you'll do whatever to reach your goals. Moggi is a fokin genius at this and have done it so fokin excellent that every Juve supporter should be clapping his hands and stamping his feet! I fell convinced that Juve will be made the scapegoat of all the fokin hypocrites of Italian football. We might be charged with all kind of BS, but in the end we wont be convicted on a single charge. Because Moggi has done his homework. And while some people will think of his actions as immoral and so on. Well to those people I can only say - your guy in your team does it to, he's simply just not a good at it as our guy is.. So boohoo all this fokin hypocrite I wanna sell newspaper BS! It happens in all clubs and they'll never get us on a single charge! Wanna change the rules - cool with me. Just don’t be so naive to think that every director in football wont try to bend them as well. This is big business not a fokin fairytale!

And if we do get convicted? I guess I'll just eat this laptop I'm writing on and go hang myself....

FORZA JUVE!!!!
