The recent arctic conditions brought widespread disruption to the world of Italian football. Training sessions, travel arrangements and even games themselves were brought into doubt as the cold snap spread across the country.
Juventus, however, proved an exception to the rule. The state of the art Juventus Stadium was able to cope with heavy snowfall in Turin, allowing the encounter with Udinese to go ahead unaffected.
And when the Bianconeri travelled to away games, they were able to count on an added support in tackling the elements. The club’s official supplier, Goodyear, fitted the team bus with the company’s Grip WTD (Winter Tradition Drive), which featured the 3D-BIS (Block Interlocking System). The groundbreaking technology enabled Conte’s men to travel in comfort and style whilst safely making their way along wet and icy roads.
Goodyear has been Juventus’ official supplier since both parties agreed a deal on 24 November 2011.
