In ALL 12 matches we had more possession than the other teams. Our superiority in possession was the most visible against Palermo (63%) and Chievo (63%) while our worst numbers are against Genoa (52%), Inter (54%) and Lazio (54%). In any case, we had superior possession in all 12 matches.

In 11 of the 12 matches we had more shots on goal than the opponents. Only against Lazio we had 17 and they had 18 shots on goal. Against the others we were better. The best numbers are against Fiorentina (21 shots on goal) and Milan (20 shots on goal). The worst numbers are against Siena (10 shots on goal). There wasn't a match in which we had less than 10 shots on goal.

In ALL 12 matches we made more passes than the opponents. The best numbers are against Palermo (709 passes) and Parma (700 passes) while the worst against Bologna (579 passes) when we played with 10 men and against Napoli (587 passes). Just like in the possession category, here too we always do better than the opponents.
Where do you find these stats?

    Updated

Marchisio is our topscorer, Matri is our goals+assists leader and after Licht's rest yesterday Barzagli is now the only Juve player who didn't miss a single minute this season.

Our overall record so far in serie A and Coppa is: 9W - 5D- 0L (26:11)

:weee: I honestly don't see us losing for a while. Roma will be a walk in the park and so will Novara. Udinese is the one that could break us, but we're a better team at this point. I haven't felt so confident abut Juve in a while :touched:

Yeah I agree. Even when we copped that 96' min equaliser lastnight against Bologna, I still felt we would go on to dominate and win in ET, which we did. I've never felt this confident in the teams ability to play well and dominate since 2006. I think 90% of this is down to Conte, he really has them all playing out of their skin.

It's definitely down to Conte for sure, I really can't see us losing for a while. I think we could get through this whole season (if on the same form as now) with maybe 2-3 losses.

    As per today:

Juventus first team: 1st place 33 points.

    Primavera: 1st place 29 points.

    U-17: 1st place 24 points.

    U-15: 1st place 33 points
We should seriously consider playing a Juventus B in Serie B. Would do wonders for us. Is that possible in Italy?

This year we will most probably have a new topscorer after 5 seasons (in all 5 Del Piero was Juve's topscorer) and a new topscorer, a third name, after 10 years in which it was all Del Piero-Trezeguet.

    2011 - Del Piero
    2010 - Del Piero
    2009 - Del Piero
    2008 - Del Piero
    2007 - Del Piero
    2006 - Trezeguet
    2005 - Del Piero
    2004 - Trezeguet
    2003 - Del Piero
    2002 - Trezeguet

If we go even deeper into history, we have:
    2001 - Inzaghi
    2000 - Inzaghi
    1999 - Inzaghi
    1998 - Del Piero
    1997 - Del Piero

That's 15 years ruled by Del Piero (9 times topscorer), followed by two other big names like Trezeguet (3) and Inzaghi (3).

This year we will have a new name.
I congratulate whoever manages to be Juve's topscorer this season, I'll be happy for him, but it still kinda saddens me to see a 4th name after 15 years, a name which doesn't realistically have the same quality to join the three legendary strikers and carry the tag of Juventus' topscorer.

Damn, DP only needed 8 league goals to be our capocannoniere last season?

We must have been even worse than I remember.
Yup, 8 league goals and 3 more in EL.

It had more to do though with the fact that Matri and Quag played half a season each, in which they both scored 9 goals each. If any of them played a full season for us, he'd have been the top scorer.

Still, it was DP in the end.
