Juventus have landed in China to begin their preparations for Saturday evening’s Italian Super Cup final against Napoli.
Following last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Malaga in Salerno, the Bianconeri spent ten hours in the air - with a short stop in Frankfurt - before touching down in Asia on Monday at 8.30am local time.
An enthusiastic group of fans awaited their arrival at Beijing International Airport, greeting Antonio Conte’s men with chants of ‘Juve, Juve’ as they made their way out of customs.
There was also a significant amount of well wishers gathered at the team hotel, where the Bianconeri unloaded their bags ahead of their first training session at 11.30am.
The city’s Olympic Park Stadium, a 36,250 all-seater arena, will be Juve’s base for the week, with its perfect pitch providing an optimal training surface for the players to work on.
Conte and his coaching staff put on a light fitness session, ideal to get the legs going and adapt to the humid conditions ahead of this afternoon’s main workout, scheduled for 5.30pm.
