Di Vaio and Miccoli are two players who needs to feel the support of the mister, of the society, to play well. When DP was injured, they had this support, and they both played very very well (remember DV scored against Roma, twice, against Milan, Udinese, twice, etc..). But then DP returned from injury, and played all the games as a starter (but 1, against Parma). That's the reason why both Di Vaio and Miccoli are suffering right now. They feels like Juve doesnt trust them. DP is always the starter, even if he keeps playing bad. I understand them. Juve wants to play with DP no matter what. And they suffer thins situation.

Talking about Nedved, yeah, i think it's possible Juve will sell him. If Chelsea will give us 30-35 millions, we could really sell him. I aint tripping, i mean he's 30+ years old, and with that money we could buy another good player (Rosicky? Jankulovski? Pizarro?) for the mid, and a pair of good defenders.

Nedved is Nedved, but 31 years are 31 years for everybody.

and if current form is anything to show us, he may be slowing down just like Rui Costa has when joining milan.

we have to remember though, if we sell nedved, we need to replace him with quality. pizarro and jankulovski are not those players, even though i think janks could be a great squad player and a great combo with nedved at the club.

rosicky, van der vaart and aimar should be main targets. even riquelme.

sell nedved..isnt that a stupid thing to do??
Depends how much bling we get. If his sale will fund the purchase of a young prospect to replace him, as well as a couple of good defenders, we'd be hard pressed to turn it down, especially considering Nedved's age.

Pizarro not a quality player? Hell yeah if he is, man! :)
He's just not a fantasista, but a playmaker, like Sousa.
But he's the best of Serie A, and he was been nomed the best of Serie A last season.

Trust me: we need somebody like him (to replace Tacchinardi), and somebody like Marek (less quality, but more quantity and shoot) to replace Nedved.

Lippi doesnt like typical fantasisti, quality players, like Rosicky, Van Der Vaart, Aimar, Riquelme....

That's the saddest truth. He prefeers players who has quality and quantity at the same time. Example Jankulovski.

You've got to keep in mind though, it's only Miccoli's first season for Juve and he isn't playing all the time. Miccoli will get better and better.

Yeah, for sure. Hey, but i think Miccoli and Di Vaio should have played more than this year's DP!! So i agree. Miccoli did a B+ season. Di Vaio too. Del Piero a C- season.

defo.....lippi/moggi doesnt sign the well known superstar fantasista, but sign the lesser known workman like ones....afterall neddy was a bit of a workman at lazio.....

Camo is a quality not quantity player.

We need both.

Yup compare it with Milan. Milan have a lot of quality players(Pirlo, Kaka etc.), with Gattuso though they have a suberb quantity player!

Nedved makes Juve pledge

Pavel Nedved won’t be displaying his skills at Stamford Bridge next season after he committed himself to Juventus.

The Czech international’s future has been the subject of speculation recently that had suggested a summer move to Chelsea may occur.

Whispers claimed that the Italian champions were set to sacrifice the European Footballer of the Year if a substantial bid was tabled.

Yet the 31-year-old has insisted that he will keep on playing football in Turin until his contract expires in 2006.

"I have embraced the Juventus mentality and this club is in my bones," he said. "I wouldn’t change teams even if I was forced to.

"I won’t be leaving Juventus and I firmly believe that the club have no intention of selling me either."

Nedved is keen to keep winning with the Old Lady and is also adamant that he is physically up to the job.

"I’m in good shape and I don’t really understand why people are so concerned about my fitness," he said.

"Playing football gives me a great feeling of joy. If I had my way I would have a ball with me all day long."

There were doubts over Nedved’s physical condition after he was absent from Tuesday’s training session.

However, he was back in Turin on Wednesday and has trained since. He should feature at the weekend against Brescia after missing the Ancona tie with suspension.

yeah.del piero works hard for a fantasista and so does neddy.

although i know it embodies the juve spirit n' all, sometimes we have to make exceptions and sign superstar playmakers eg. rosicky.i can't think of a playmaker as hardworking as neddy who has a good deal of talent(michael ballack aside).
