I don't know about this. All great players in their own right and great business-wise. But are they really needed and would it be good image-wise(important for future signings) ?

I mean Ze Roberto isn't exactly a spring chicken anymore,(though he still performs well) i'd rather see Mutu get more playing time or even Zambrotta as midfielder. Nedved can still be desicive.

I have my doubts concerning Deislers ability to settle, keeping in mind all his past mental problems. Nor do I know for who he'd play for, for Camo? Nedved's replacement? He's too good for the bench anyway, which would not help him settling either.

Ballack, a player of class no doubt. Where would we field him tough, instead of Emerson or Vieira?? I think not, not unless one of them is out. Ballack on the flanks? That'd be useless. Ballack behind the strikers? Not unless Capello is not our coach anymore by then. Ballack on the bench? Or Emerson or Vieira on the bench for that matter? What a waste that'd be.

Again, selling them all again would hurt us too.

I agree with you Dominic.If this movements are true some of our current players would expiate.

Ballack is a no-brainer on a free really, and in some ways Deisler is the same because we do not have proper cover for Camoranesi on the right side of midfield. Ze Roberto we do not have a need for and I doubt Moggi will offer him a contract.

You really could not get more of a steal with both Ballack and Deisler on frees...and with both coming to Juve the adjustment would be easier for them, especially Sebastian who has Ballack to look up to, as well as our other experianced players in midfield.

This almost seems too goodto be true.

Forget about Ze Roberto. Mutu is younger and just as good. Deisler would be a good addition to the team as we currently lack a natural alternative to Camoranesi and he could do a job more centrally as well. Believe it or not, but I'm not too sure about the biggest of the bunch, meaning Michael Ballack of course. He's a fine player and to acquire his services without having to pay a transfer fee would be wonderful but where exactly does he fit in? Some are saying that he would replace Nedved but unless we changed systems that wouldn't happen. Infact, the only way Ballack would even get into the Juve starting lineup is if we changed systems because Capello is not going to drop Emerson or Vieira for the more attack-minded German. Perhaps we could finally switch permanently to 4-3-3 with Emo, Paddy and Ballack forming the midfield trio. Camoranesi and Deisler would provide excellent back-up and wide options off the bench.

Exactly my point. Signing Ballack merely complicates things. Perhaps the formation would work with Zlatan, Mutu and DP upfront but that takes Trezeguet out of the equation which is unacceptable.

Stu, we could easily place Camoranesi out on the wing in a 4-3-3 formation, very much like Mourinho's setup at Chelsea.

Camoranesi would be able to roam freely on the right, or even drift towards the center of the pitch like he usually loves to do. This system looks very much like the 4-3-3 being used at Chelsea with Robben and Duff advanced forwards on the flanks...Mauro would have the same job as those players and be able to concentrate a bit more on attacking. Trezeguet would be alone up top and Ibrahimovic would roam around as usual with Zambrotta taking the left flank to himself. With the trio we have midfield we would run over most of our opponents...comparable to what Mourinho has in midfield at Chelsea.

I'm not convinced Camo and Zlatan would work like Duff and Robben (or Cole or SWP) do. Might be a little too defensive. I like having Nedved in there like he is now. It gives a good bit more flexibility in attack.

Very nice lineup there RochemBeck. Although I believe that Palacio should play as left midfielder with Viera or Ballack next to Emerson. Maybe we could be great with a 4-3-3 lineup, but I think we have been more successfull with 4-4-2 and with Capello that seems more fitting.
