Social Media Week, a biannual event exploring the social, cultural and economic impact of social media, is coming to Turin.
The capital of Piedmont has been selected to host September’s conference alongside 13 other cities from across the world: Barcelona, Berlin, Bogota, Chicago, Glasgow, Hong Kong, Jeddah, London, Los Angeles, Sao Paolo, Seoul, Shanghai and Vancouver.
Having enjoyed immense success since launching its social networks alongside a brand new website in April 2011, Juventus Football Club will play an active role in the event.
On Tuesday 25 September, from 10.30am until 12.30pm, the ‘Social Media and Juventus’ seminar will be held at the city’s Jazz Club in Via Giovanni Giolitti.
Corriere della Sera journalist Massimo Sideri will chair the debate. Stephen Nuttall, senior sports director of YouTube, will also be in attendance.
