Majed.. Have you been there yet? What's your opinion about it..
Yes, I have. It's a cool place. The store is a bit bigger than the Juve Store in Torino, with as many items. Although I did not notice any Juve flags, they did have other items such as sofa covers. Keychains, wallets, small kits, socks, Juvespresso are available too. Some of the sweaters were cool too.
The Juvestore is the second section of the place. When you walk in, the first section is the cafe (although designed like a bar). They have seats and a few TV sets displaying AlJazeera Sports channels. I Didn't watch any games there, so I'm not sure if they have the ART sport channels too. I noticed that the TV sets were mounted a bit high though, which would be a bit annoying to watch.
The 3rd section of the place has ManU and Barca stuff. Didn't bother to walk around in that area.
I asked the salesperson when the official opening would be. He didn't know, but he said that Secco or Blanc as well as a few players should come for an official opening within the next few weeks. (this was over 2 weeks ago).
.......
Overall this store is great for all Juve fans in the kingdom. Even for those people who live in the rest of the kingdom, Riyadh is the st biggest city and most people have relatives/friends there. So, I'd imagine that the store would be a big success.
I wish this store was available while I was growing up in Riyadh. Only one store in the city carried Kappa stuff, and even that brand was banned temporarily in 97 for stupid reasons. Since Nike have sponsored Juve, it's been easier to find their kits, but now that Juvestore is open it's a a lot better.
