That would be a stupid move, and I doubt Moggi would go for that deal.

Appiah will be traded elsewhere. To Middlebourough perhaps. Or he could still be part of this deal, alongwith Zebina. Who knows? Nothing seems ironed out yet. Although, im pretty confident Viera is on his way to Juventus.

That would honestly defeat the purpose of bringing Viera to Turin. Hes being brought in to complement Emerson in midfield and not to replace him.

I think when Juve give their best rigt back to Arsenal that Miguel must come, or Capello will place Zamvrotta at the right and Chiellini at the left??

Capello wants Vieira to partner Emo. We shall have the best midfield in Europe!
Now we can get rid of Maresca, Blasi and say good-bye to Tacchi

To be honest, we could go for a cheaper version, because we already have a very good combo with Giannichedda and Emerson. Gianni takes a more defensive role than Emerson who would than be allowed to go more forward, and thats what he wants. What most maybe don't know, when Emerson was at Leverkusen he was by far Bundesliga's best playmaker.

I have seen him play, yet I form my own oppinion of him.
I dont think Vieira is special at all.

Dom i have to disagree, even tho im not 100% behind the move, Vieira is a imense DM. Controls, motivate dominates and pushes the team forward.

A dominating midfield of Emo and Vieira makes our team the stereotypical juve team : Incredibly strong dominating physical team.

Camo-Emo-Vieira-Neddy...........Sorry but that is the best midfield in the world.
Neddy and camo can freely do what they want with Emo AND Vieira looking after the defensive side.

Vieira is also a underated passer, he often linkes up arsenals plays beautifully.

All in all that is a insanely good midfield for next year.

I want Viera to play for Juve next season, but we need to keep Appiah.

If we end up putting Zebina in the Viera deal then I think we will end up putting Thuram at right back and sticking Kovac in the middle - I don't like this idea at all!!and I don't think Thuram would be happy.

Though yes defensively we would improve even more and we'd win a lot of balls. Is THAT what we need though? even more defensive play? Couldn't the same defensive play be achieved with a cheaper alternative? Take Alex Lacki's idea for example.

He wouldn't play that much for us anyway though, considering he'd be sitting out a suspension every second match .

Viera and Emerson both having similar qualities within them in terms of helping the defenders, winning the ball in the midfield, coverage, flare in passing, pushing forward, helping the forwards and of course playmaking abilities opts to be a great combination. I can see them switching roles in one being defensive and the other being offensive several times during the game. It is probably the smartest signing we will make if the deal works.

I think if Juve use Zebina to get Vieira than Miguel is a very real possibility.
