Why is there so much space in our midfield when they attack?

Because your team isn't coming back. Your best CM in a defensive spot is Pirlo, never a hard-nosed player, and you're playing about 2 or 3 players out of position.

Vucinic's natural position should be left bench.

We need to get Vidal in the middle and an actual LM playing LM.

Or not use a LM at all...
