You talk like we've had Mourinho or Ferguson managing us. lol Its not a case of overrating the team and the players its a case of not underrating them and saying that we need a defence of Ashley Cole + Pique + Thiago Silva + Maicon to defend well. That's another thing that annoys me a lot around here. You all seem lunatic about transfers and judging players. Bonucci is not good enough but Lugano or Rolando is? Wtf? And that's just an example of the crap i have seen around here. What others have isn't always better then what we have. Some should learn to evaluate and compare our players to other, they would learn a lot.
We have had the same kind of managing that Brazil have had. Great quality players but that have been underplaying in the World cup in the last couple of years. I won't even take in consideration Copa America since that's just plain boring to see and quality wise its worse then some 2nd division teams. Do they have bad players as well? No, yet they fail when the crucial moments arrive, inb4 competitions. We are on the same road. Good players (some i may admit that shouldn't have been even considered in Juventus but after calciopoli we need a plan and such things require time). This season since we are out of any other competitions besides Serie A and Coppa, we can take advantage of that and build a solid base so that next season we can get a couple of reinforcements but the core and base of the team must be done this season otherwise next season we will have a bunch of new transfers that will kill the team and will make Conte (admitting he won't be fired..) build a new squad, again. That's not healthy for the club. But again some crap must be offloaded asap unless they show something useful to the squad.
