I red an interview with the Bayer Munich manager Ulli Hoeneß in an newspaper. Hoeneß said that when Bayern played in the delle alpi and there were only 20.000 spectators and not 60.000 he asked Bettega why there are not more spectators. Bettega answered that a lot of people who work on the next day prefer to watch the match on tv but Bettega said that that`s no problem because Juve gets 95 millions from TV per year.

I think nowadays you can make much more money from tv than from selling tickets. But it just doesn`t look good to watch a match in a half empty stadium. Juve must look to bring the fans back to the stadium.

How do you think we can do that????

Here are my solutions:

we need a modern stadium that is close to the pitch. going to the stadium should be something you get addicted to. the atmospere will be much better and people will start going to the stadium again. a pure football stadium also looks better if it is not full because the spectators will sit in the first rows and the stadium will not look so empty. in the delle alpi the fans sit in the back because the view is so bad from the first rows. that makes the stadium look even emptier.

if we have a new stadium there should not be such strict rules like in england where it is not allowed to stand. there should be place behind the goals for the hardcore fans but there should also be areas where families and children are safe.

build a juve museum and a juve store at the stadium. there is just nothing around the delle alpi except flats. there are no shops or something like this.

try to get better public transport to the stadium

organise fanbusses and trains to home matches.

reduce the ticket prices. they are nearly as expensive as they are in england. a lot of people and families just can`t spend so much money on football. 40, 50 or 60 euros are just too much.

make the games more safer. families and women should feel save if they go to matches.

invite school classes to watch Juve games. if they go there once they will perhaps also go there with their parents.

That`s what I think should be done to get the fans back to the stadium.
we had much more fans 3 or 4 years ago at every match. 25.000 fans against Inter or Bayern are just a disgrace. It is depressing to watch juve matches and and see all the empty seats.
much smaller teams from from much smaller cities have higher attendances.
even if a lot of people in torino support Ac torino and the people there are not so passionate like people in south itally it should be possible to bring 40.000 people to every match.

Great ideas Phillip. I hope Bettega can do something to bring the fans back, because there are still lots of juventini, its just a matter of persuading them to come back to the stadium....

Yes, I think so but why are there no concrete informations about the stadium. Juve should make an own homepage for the stadium and show how it will exactly look like. I don`t even know how many seats it will exactly have...... Our information policy is just crap. Even Torino has an own homepage about the reconstruction of the communale.

As Paul would say, look on the official website..

I must admit I haven't bothered checking for the info myself, but it should be there AFAIK

I think that is because there are no plans. If they were to start that , we must have been informed.. We will have to wait for years.....
my brother made fun of me yesterday as they showed the new Allianz Arena, and said when will juve have a football stadium????

yea lets see this :
it will be finished in 2007
next year we win the scudetto = 29 (2006)
in 2007 we dont win it (stays 29) (2007)
the stadium is finished
we win the scudetto = 30 ( *** ) (2008)
that means they have to paint the stadion again because the're are only 2 stars :D right?
