Its very pathetic. But again these are English writers who work for Soccernet (I assume), so thats to be expected. Yeah a little more respect would be nice, but it doesn't bother me. The Spanish and English press looked stupid after the Semifinals in 2003.

Note: The reporters on those kinds of Soccer websites appeal to the BECKHAM\MAN U audiences. Those people consider Man United as one of the strongest in Europe :rofl:. They also think Beckham (the most overrated player in the history of sports) is the greatest giocatore that ever lived. Also, some of these writers tend appeal only to those fans of BRAZIL and ENGLAND, ie - people who don't know sscheise about anything else but these four field. Let's be proud to say that Serie A is not for the ignorant fan (hold your Roma jokes till the end please :D ).

This is probably the biggest load of tripe I've read all year. If you live 5 minutes away from the Delle Alpi, or across various countries, oceans, continents etc... its the SAME?! Are you mad?

I take it you live in turin and you're trying to make excuses for the pitiful attendance, but really one cannot be found. Those apparent juve fans in Turin that turn up to one game (Milan) per year should be bloody ashamed of themselves.. Palermo here we come please!!

Exactly Tom. The fans who live anywhere in the vicinity of Turin should be at the matches. There is no excuse for those fans who live there.

Like I said before, if it was easy to fly to Turin, and not that expensive, I'd go to every damn match. But the world isn't that ideal.

    1. Man United are a very big threat in the CL, in fact we're going to win it.

    2. OMG did you reallly honestly believe that ENGLISH commentators are not biased!! So your telling me Italian, or Spainish are saying 'Yes, I can really see Arsenal or Man United doing well, oh but lets not forget about Chelsea and Liverpool'. Are they hell.

    3. Turin is a Torino strong fanbase, thats why Juve are 'running away' to Palermo.

Okay, how do you tell how good a team are, on recently performances, well...Arsenal have been utterly crap against Man City, Bolton, PSV and Rosenborg. There last 4 opponents, and as someone who watches the premiership alot, they are absolutely awful right now!

    wtf??

i'm not roman abramovich,i don't have my own private jet dammit.i'm a teenager who cannot afford to pay for an air ticket to italy just for a football match.what do you mean where i live is irrelevant?the fact that i'm a couple thousand miles away from turin is the only thing stopping me from watching juve play every match.

and the fact that it's maccabi shouldn't have that much of an impact on attendances, look at birmingham, even they got a near full attendance playing at home to whats-their-name in the league cup.

    It's CL dammit.

Actually Emerson makes a fair point here. I can complain about low attendences all I want but in 9 years supporting this club I haven't been to the Delle Alpi once, not because I can't, if I really wanted to I could go say once or twice a year, but because I have more interesting things to do with my holiday.
i understand your point, but if it were just about any other major CL club there'd be a hundred fans wanting to fill the stadium for every one who doesn't want to make the trip.

apparently it's not the case for juve.
