no matter what ppl say about him, i simply love his passing accuracy, his awareness, i wud personally welcome him at juve, infact it sickens me how most here slate him, yet prefer lampard
This is going to cause a backlash but ...Lampard is much more proven on the world stage..

PS: No i dont think Lampard is a better buy for Juve.

hmmm i disagree lampard hasnt actually proven anything besides the fact he likes to shoot from far and miss 90% of the time where as riquelme is a fantastic passer of the ball, he is the heart of argentina's midfield and it showed in the wc, and it cost argentina wen riq was subbed off and germany went on to equalize, that is how influential riquelme is to a midfield like argentina's to lampard is to england's midfield

Look, I've seen Lampard play innumerable times for both England and Chelsea. I can say without any fear of contradiction that he is not, repeat not, a player who makes a difference to a top class side.

His passing is of a very low standard, his possession is nervy and overall, whilst I acknowledge that he is infact a good player, I can assure you that there are many other players out there who would do a better job. Many. Infact, too many to list.

Lampard's crap with England..and if you think about it,who isnt??

But at club level..the fact is Lampard is proven both in the CL and in the EPL..he isnt world class IMO but he is a very good midfielder..He scores goals his pasing isnt as bad as people make it out to be...He isnt a zidane or a Pirlo in terms of creativity but he makes up for that with his stamina, work rate and goals..

I'd say riquelme is much more talented than Lampard..and footbalistically(i know it isnt a word) he probably is much better..But IMO a player is 60% ability and 40% mentality...riquelme doesnt have the latter..thats why he never proved himself in europe other than that one season where He took Villareal to the semi's and then flopped.

And by the way Lampard's shot\on goal percentage is pretty good for someone who trys long shots alot..its 44%

And his shots on goal percentage in the CL is better than Tiago's by the way;)

i like lampard and i think he is also a complete player with good skills, you cant compare romy to lampard. they are different type of players, i cant remember an english player who has playmaker qualities and creativity. so in england its tradition to shoot and run, while in latin countries creativity is more common.

but then we have to agree that the stats dont support your claim that Tiago's shots are better than Lampard..Because if we suppose that Lampard just shoots from wherever he is in the field...and that Tiago is more of a team player like you say. then surely Tiago should have a better shot\on target percentage;)

well the truth is 40 odd percent is hardly good, im surprised lampard hasnt got it thru his thick head that hes simply sh*t at long shots and leave it to players like juninho and nedved
