Young Tuscan goalkeeper Leonardo Citti experienced a birthday to remember in Val d’Aosta.
Not only did the recently turned 17-year-old spend the day training with the Serie A champions, he also stepped up to receive the applause of hundreds of fans gathered at Juventus Summer Village.
Joining the fledgling talent on stage with DJ Nana and Valeria Ciardiello were fellow goalkeepers Marco Storari, Laurentiu Branescu and Nicola Leali.
As the veteran of the group, Storari spoke about how Antonio Conte’s free-flowing style affects his particular role.
“Our manager wants to start play right from the back,” commented the 35-year-old. “It’s obvious that we’re required to do a lot of training in order to achieve this. But we have a great goalkeeping coach and we manage to cover a bit of everything.”
