Ale's mere presence on the field lifts the team..........sure we are a good team without him but we become a GREAT team with him in the side...ALE forever

Y'all are such saps! DP is just a player like anybody else. If you look at it objectively, Davids Gigi and Nedved are much more important to the team. (Okay, bring it on, I'm looking for a good argument/debate).

You first, i didn't see your argument ;)

BTW if you are going to say that Nedved was the best this year i tottaly agree.

But look at all the years DP has being playing and how much he has offered. Davids and Gigi more important than him? Bah

You have to look at what every player's given during all their years. And for me, there's no doubt, Alex is our flag, i cannot imagine him playing anywhere else.

I remember Lippi's and Nedved's comments just this year, underlining again that Del Piero is this team's leader.

So no, Davids, gigi, and not even Nedved is more important to this team than Del Piero.

There no need to discuss this, evrything is clear.

Delpiero could be a crap, and he will be still the juve symbol.

There is no place for another

why not we take it this way..

when u think Juventus.. u think of Del Piero..

when u think of Del Piero, u think of Juventus/Italy...

right?

the same way it works with Raul...

I would say they r the same...

Juz that one is with Real.. and the other with Juve..

and both still didn't win any championship with their countries..

he's important but no player is bigger than the club.

I wholly agree with tom and rick2.

I should think the main difference with Raul and DP is that Raul is very consistent. The Honest truth is that since DP came back from the 98 injury he has never been the same. He's slow, wastes possesion and very incosistent. He has even admitted it himself this week that he didn't do himself and the team any favours against Barca and to me that was not the only game.
It's not that i'm against DP it's just that the truth needs to be told sometimes.

There's a statement of Nedved again in the Gazzetta today in italian of course, but it translates to something like "Our badge is Alessandro Del Piero"

I don't consider Alex to be more important from Juve. The point i'm making and that many forget is that his presence in the field alone, lifts the team, they all recognise him as their leader.

Next target 200 :D

well maybe now he is slow cuz he came back from an injury but before that he wasn't that slow (from july to feb.)..... ok he've made 16 goals (like last season) but with 9 games less......he is maybe not ZZ but that man gives everthing for Juve!! and i think that this scudetto (if we will win it) is alot thanks to DP (and neddy when alex was injured.....)
hope he'll play well tomorrow...
we will win it!!!!!!!!! Forza Juve!!!!!! c'mon ale'!!!!!!

I know about the quote button, it's just that i prefer to use the quick reply textfield and it doesn't have the quote functionality. So i usually end up using the xml like format quoting.:D

I happen to use XML on almost daily basis so please bear with me on this one:cool:
