Well....let me tell what was exactly on my mind...?
:D :cheesy:

I was wondering about the origin of a word, and I wanted to start a thread just for that...but I came up with a better idea:angel::cool::fero:...that is: to start a thread where we all can discusse and ask about words and their meanings in other languages, how they look in the native language;i.e. the written form, their origins and similar words between languages...etc -since it's a multicultural forum.:devil:

First of all:fero::devil:....I need to ask MY question  about the meaning of the word: enough, just, only, that's it......in ITALIAN... if there are any Italians here...can you please help???...;) :)
Thank you...:)

    What? What do you mean?

If you want to ask what "OK" is in other languages - no European language (to my knowledge) has another version of "OK"

There are some other words, for example "bene" in Italian, but those can be translated as "good" or "alright"

as for me I only know Arabic-my mother tongue, and English...

I hate them - they are too sneaky :D

But hey, managing to learn English when your native language is Arabic is impressive to me! I mean, I've only learned languages with the same alphabet (roughly) as my own language.
