I can't blame Chiellini for wanting to stay where he knows he will play regularly, I know that's what I would want if I was in his shoes.

DP And Zambro To Stay-Giraudo
6/6/2005 1:15:00 PM
Juventus director Antonio Giraudo confirmed Bianconeri stars Zambrotta and Del Piero will stay in Turin for at least for another season.
“Our first transfer objective is to remain competitive and not to try to get the bargain deal. For this reason I can say Zambrotta and Del Piero will stay put,” he said.

Giraudo then ruled out that AS Roma starlet Antonio Cassano will join Juve over the course of the summer.

“Cassano is a great player that can make the difference in any team, but we have five forwards who each play for their respective national teams, and for this reason we are complete,” he said.

Ahh come on, y does Chiellini have to be such a brat!
I just hope Capello tells him that Zambo will be put in front of him (literaly) as in midfield rather than fight for position.

I really hope Chiellini comes, he just said that to confirm his position on the squad.

There's a dilemma here guys.

If Chiellini returns, he will have to compete with Zambro, and this will make him unhappy.

For some who say that Zambro will be moved to midfield, think again. Because our signings will be already in that department. He can not replace Nedved on the left because that's the only position Nedved plays. On the right, we have Camo, and not unless they decide to rotate them both, both will be unhappy when not playing. The only slot in which Zambro may find in midfield is to be a defensive midfielder, but that slot has already been plugged by our two "alleged" signings for the summer in the form of Giannichedda and Kovac.

So if Chiellini arrives, what happens?

Can Nedved not play in a central role behind the forwards?

Camoranesi has proven that he can be very effective given a more central-right midfield role. Maybe it's because he's not the paciest winger in the world, so he can't just skin defenders on the wing; Camo to me seems more effective when he has the freedom to hold up the ball a bit until an opportunity to cross the ball presents itself.

That said, it would probably be better displacing Nedved from his LM role and pushing him forward a bit (since IMHO he plays better in that position anyway)

I know it is likely to be a load of crap - but tribalfootball is saying Moggi is monitoring Asley Cole's situation at Arsenal.

I have to admit, I am starting to get slightly concerned with all this talk of a new left back, because I don't think Juve will change Zambro's position again - a new left back coming in probably means Zambro going out.

I know everyone has denied he is leaving but I wouldn't trust Moggi at all.

Have Chelsea bought that left back fom Athletico Madrid yet? The sooner they sign him up the better, leave Zambrotta alone.

getting chielini back will be great.. Zambrotta can switch to right back, Zebina as substitute for him.. But I am very upset that chielini is allways saying he wants to stay in fiorentina, I mean, who want to be in fiorentina?? ;)

Getting Maresca back would be great, but I think this will stay only a dream

I know Milan will be playing this formation next season, I think we could do the same...

----------------------Kaka

--------------Sheva-----------Crespo (Gila)

----------------------Buffon

------Kovac(Zebina)---Thuram----Canna

Cammo------Emerson-----Appiah(Essien ?)-----Zambro(Chellini)

---------------------Nedved

------------Zlatan--------DP(Mutu)

Treze out of the first team?(again without finisher)
And why use chiellini as RM as sub to Camo and not LM(natural place) as sub to Zambro?

Appiah and Kovac to the first eleven?
What happens if one of those 3man defence gets injured or suspended?
(we have to invest more to cover them subwise)
I believe there wont be any place for Blasi/appiah as a starter in the midf,
a big name is coming.

Its more realistic and Cap style to play a trident

I think Maresca said he doesn't want to return.
Can you blame him? Hes young, talented and shipped off every season. All he needs is a chance, and i think both parties will be happy.
