Add to that list the rumours Biri would join Messina next week.
According to Messina's site, he could be in the stadium watching Messina-Palermo in this very moment, but according to Juventus.it nothing has happened..

Ufficiale: Birindelli e Nocerino al Messina
13/1/2006

y would we want cassano? we r covered upfront, no room for him. as for u mentioning vieri, that is the most ridicolous thing i have heard. vieri is terrible and is to old. not to mention his salary is to much for a player of his quality.

we have mutu, who's natural role is a striker. crespo is not worth it, his age and salary demands are not suitable for juve.

I would like for us to have another alternative to Thuram, Canna and Kovac, but as for Cassano and Vieri, I believe that the club made the right decision by not going for them.

We don't need Cassano or Vieri, they aren't exactly angels on and off the pitch, and they're both desperate to play regularly so as to make it to Germany 2006. With Del Piero and Mutu in such fine form the acquisition of Cassano would have been unnecessary at the very least while Vieri is old, past it and will want a reasonable salary. I'm quite content with Zalayeta for now.

Vieiri would cost a lot and would offer nothing,
we wouldnt repeat Milan's mistakes, neither feed on their leftovers.
We have too many attackers,Zalayeta had rarely the chance to play,
DP is in good shape and can sub both Treze(as finisher but not as target man) and Zlatan(support),Mutu can help too if needed,
Cassano would only create problems in the offence(a 10mil unneeded headache,5milfor the transfer+5salary).
we would probably buy Cassano for free at summer but not under those circumstances and Cassano needed to be ready for the world cup...
On the defence we cant ask more than 3 CBs no teams have more,
we are very well covered and we cant build our team on speculations that we will have too many simultaneus accidentations, defence wants balance and stability
and this is what Capello does.
Zebina is back and can play as CB and dont forget that Gianni and Blasi are flexible enough to cover some places in the defence too...

Cassano could play in midfield too left right and atack left right,we shouldn't miss a talented versatile player like him .DP will not be here forever (he is not young anymore), we should look for future too.I am not sure about Zebina playing in center,3 CBs is not enough IMO,at the moment we have 2 and kovac injured, what happens if one of them is suspended?I think we need a good young CB.
the most important thing is the CB.but if we can buy defensive midfieler also or atacking one like balack for example,we will be much stronger.

btw,long time no seen :)

agreed..we have cover for all the positions..(one reason i like to play FM with Juve :D )

however, CB is the position that is less covered than others on provided that gladstone is going to be loaned out..where's masiello? (sorry for the spelling of his name) is he loaned out?
