I think he'd be a nice choice, IMO. Has the experience, and people have taken their eye off of him since he broke his leg. May not have a lot of quality years left in him, but he provides leadership at the back which we lost with Canna and Thuram leaving. Only problem is the Portuguese language disconnect for the most part, but that didn't exactly hurt Emo last season.
Emo already had a few years to learn Italian in Rome before joining Juve.

Juventus is added to the list of teams interested in Alex according to the Dutch newspaper Sportweek.
The Brasilian, who is owned by Chelsea can't yet join the club from London because he doesn't have enough interlands to get a work permit yet and Juve would be interested to sign him for their return to serieA.

Really good news :) Hope we can catch him and Barzagli, then we will be great. And have Criscito and Boumsong as benchwarmers or something.

Put a fast guy that's with great anticipation next to him and we'll have a solid center-back duo.

I really hope we get him, ive heared he prefers Juve above Ac Brasilan and Inter, so i hope Secco will get him! Btw PSV missed him so badly today when they got crushed by Liverpool and Mascherano was one of the worst players from Liverpool side.

He'll get his working permit this time for sure. Even if he didn't, I'd hate it if we loaned him and then had to give him back..

The Juve could have found one absolutely convenient solution and of quality in order to reinforce its rear unit. The bianconeri leaders have been in fact first to move with the Chelsea for having information on center them Brazilian Alex. Alex, that it has made return in the English club after the positive experience in the Psv, has not resolved the relative issue to the working papers and this has would force it to play an other year to the foreign country. According to the norms of the Football Association, in fact, the extracommunitarian soccers player can receive the approval of single job if they have disputed 75% of the official contests of own the National one: Alex, instead, has worn the casacca verdeoro only for 8 of the 14 contests disputed from Brasi them in last the 24 months, that is only 60%. The English club will meet the members of AGO in order disentangling the situation but in case of lacked agreement it will have to take in consideration the hypothesis of the cession, also temporary. Therefore the Juve has moved in advance payment asking the Blues the loan of the player who would have met also the gradimento of Claudius Ranieri 1.88 of height for 92 chili, the fort, physically and technically most skillful in the sudden decisions - to case it often does not end also in the tabellini of the markers - the Brazilian would be a young graft but al expert same time for rinsaldare the bianconero rear unit. All, moreover, without to forget the Milan: the club of Via Turati is in optimal relationships with the Chelsea and the Brazilian is for a long time a bullet of Carl Ancelotti. The rossonero rearguard would be already to place therefore but a graft of the value of Alex sure would not be refused, species if the rich season of engagements is considered that attends the Devil.

did you actually read? its a loan-deal
Loan deals are not exactly free, we could spend a lot of money on his wages, which are probably sky high since he's contracted to Chelsea. It all depends on the deal, who pays his wages, do we need to pay for the loan, etc. Still, if he'd be rejected for a work permit again Chelsea wouldn't have a choice, they'd have to loan him somewhere and we just might get him for free on a one year loan deal.
