I think he is a very complete footballer with an extraordinary technique for his height. He is intelligent and also has a strong mentality. He experienced a lot in young years and was always under pressure at Schalke and needed to carry so much responsibility, but he did fine most of the times..such a shame the injuries stopped his development. He has a good finishing and is a relatively smart passer and very important he can dribble. He is not that fast, but his pace is decent. All in all a very nice package IMO, but if I would coach him, then he would play as a striker or SS. I dont see him being an exeptional AM/regista/playmaker. He can play there, sure, but I m not convinced and I cannot remember, that he has played that position often. Its his dream position though, he mentioned it before several times.

:tup: Doubt he'd play SS here though, given our current need in the middle. Nice to see someone finally rating this guy.
